Starr County Memorial Hospital Nutrition Services is staffed with a registered dietitian and is available in Starr County. The Registered Dietitian will see patients of all ages.

Starr County Memorial Hospital offers nutrition counseling to the community. Our program is ideal for people of all ages and medical histories. It provides the support and guidance needed to reach health goals and make healthy food choices one step at a time.

A one-hour initial appointment includes an in-depth assessment to determine your nutritional needs. The dietitian will discuss ways to make healthy food choices and will provide you with information to help you understand and manage your nutritional needs. Thirty-minute follow-up appointments, if necessary are available.
A referral is required by a physician. Check with your insurance company to be sure of your coverage.
