Wound Care Clinic:
Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm
We have a Wound Care and Diabetic Wound Care Certified Registered Nurse Clinician that has extensive experience and who works closely with our wound care team. Patients that come to our wound care clinic should come with a physician order. Our team will then delineate the plan of care and schedule wound care treatments. Our healing rates are excellent. Our Wound Care Department provides care to any patient with the following types of wounds: traumatic, diabetic, ulcers, surgical wound, skin breakdowns, burns, and other wounds. Our Registered nurse is certified to Evaluate and recommend treatments for continuing care at home with home health agencies, hospice companies, nursing homes, or any other type of home care.
Our WCC, DWC, Registered Nurse continues assessing patients until after the healing has been completed and sporadically after that to monitor progress. One of the top priorities of our Wound Care Team is to provide detailed and comprehensive discharge instructions for home care. They are available to answer any questions that patients may have. Our wound care team works very closely with our local physicians and clinics.
