QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE
Sec. 1076.053. QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE. To qualify for election as a trustee, a person must:(1) be at least 18 years of age;
(1) be at least 18 years of age;(2) have been a resident of the district for at least two years;
(3) have been a resident of the commissioners precinct from which the person is to be elected for at least two years, unless the person is running at large; and
(4) be a qualified voter. (Acts 63rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 118, Sec. 4(a) (part).)
