Licensed Vascular Sonographer / Technician - Cardiopulmonary Department
A.Education: Degree in vascular technology or equivalent and completion of an approved program for medical Ultrasound Technology.
B. Personal Job-Related Skills: Knowledge of ultrasound technology and equipment and effective oral and written communication skills.
C. Licensure: Registered Vascular Sonographer /ARDMS or CCI
D. Experience:
1. Minimum of 2 years experience as a vascular sonographer.
E. Physical and Mental Requirements: Duties of the position require moderate standing, walking, twisting, reaching, and handling of instruments and equipment. Occasional heavy lifting and supporting patients that may suddenly become weak or helpless.
