Job Summary: Under the supervision of a Laboratory Manager, assists with the obtaining of patient specimens and files patient reports
Job Qualifications:
Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
A. Education: High school graduate or equivalent, but preferably some job training at a technical school.
B. Personal Job-Related Skills: Ability to learn technical procedures involved in obtaining blood from patients.
C. Licensure, Registry, or Certification: CERTIFIED
PHLEBOTOMIST
D. Experience:
1. Prior Work Experience: One year experience in a medical setting preferred.
2. Technical Training: None required.
