Our nursery department provides compassionate care to all our newborns. Our nurses are required to have current certification in STABLE course and Neonatal Resuscitation Program. We are also very active with our Region's Neonatal/Maternal Committee. Our hospital is proud to announce that we have successfully received a Level 1 Neonatal Facility Designation certification from the Texas Health and Human Services Department.

The purpose of this certification is to establish a guideline that includes a detailed description of the scope of services available to all maternal and neonatal patients. These guidelines include evaluation, treatment, transfers, and/or transportation by our facility that is consistent with the accepted professional standards of practice for neonatal and maternal care that ensures the health and safety of patients.
