Respiratory Assistant - Cardiopulmonary

Job Title: Respiratory Assistant

Department: Cardiopulmonary
Job Summary: Performs cardiopulmonary procedures on patients as directed by a physician and supervised by a Certified Cardiopulmonary Technician. Maintains supplies and equipment. OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens I.
Job Qualifications:
A. Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Enrolled in an accredited school for cardiopulmonary care preferred.
B. Personal Job-Related Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills.
C. Licensure, Registry or Certification: None required.
D. Experience:
1. Prior Work Experience: One year experience in a medical setting preferred.
2. Technical Training: Current in CPR.
